A licensee of a pub is running a free bus so people from the Denny and Bonnybridge communities can play Bingo.
The 32-year-old Barry Frame who owns Bar 209 in Denny stated that he wants to turn back the clock to when families enjoyed days out in the pub and organised fun and exciting activities.
The pub was recently granted a license to allow kids in the suite, indoor games and sports and even an adult license for hen and stag parties.
Frame has teamed up with his childhood friend Ross Bryans who will supply Barry with the bus he needs to do the pick-ups with.
Frame stated that as a local, he has always felt that since the Bingo closed there has always been an empty void in the heart of Denny as well as a lack of spirit in the community since the people from Denny and the close areas used to gather in the Hall.
Bryans agreed with him that Denny needs this and donated the bus so that Frame will be driving the bus and he is experienced since he used to work for his dad and did the Sunday’s Bingo run.
The route will cover bus stops in Allandale, Banknock, Bonnybridge, Denny, Dunipace, High Bonnybridge, and Longcroft.
Barry added that they will be using the latest technology to deliver the bingo. Moreover, the bus will not only take you there but will also bring you back home after you are done with the Bingo.
The people from the community seem to be overwhelmed and quite excited about this.
