A PUB AIMS HOSTS BINGO NIGHT WITH HOPES TO RAISE MONEY FOR HOSPITAL APPEAL

Members of the community are invited to take part in a bingo night and help raise funds for a hospital appeal.

The pub is called The Peddars Inn, and it is located on The Street, Sporle, close to Swaffham, and it will host an event tomorrow in hopes to raise some money and help Queen Elizabeth Hospital’s Excel Appeal.

The participants can pay £5 for a book which will contain 12 games, or they can play the cash game which costs £1 for a card.

The total amount of funds which will be raised will be divided between the winner and the charity.

The hospital appeal is supported by the EDP, and it aims to raise £50,000. It needs the money to purchase specialist care equipment so that the comfort and treatment of the elderly people in the hospital can be severely improved.

The equipment will include comfortable reclining chairs, falls prevention kit, and dementia software.

Until now there have been raised approximately £25,000.

The bingo night will begin at 7.30 pm. The bar snacks and meals will be available at 6 pm.

If you want to reserve a bingo table you should call this number: 01760 788101.
